Hello! My name is Loren Brooke – I am a thirty-something gal with an adventurous spirit and big dreams. I grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors degree in Media Communications where I received the honor of Most Outstanding Student in my degree field.

To complete my degree, I accepted an internship in Los Angeles, California as a Fashion and Public Relations intern with an amazing company, Simply Stylist. From my internship I learned so many things and met so many amazing people. I was fortunate enough to also serve as a media assistant to actress Jamie Chung, helping her out with her blog What The Chung. I not only fell in love with the media world and began my blogging journey. In 2012 I started photographing weddings traveling all over the United States, as well as all the way to Florence, Italy where my love for photography grew in to a career. In 2017, I took a leap of faith and became flight attendant for a mainline airline that allowed me to travel all around the world. I was first based in Washington, D.C. and now in 2023 I’m so lucky to call Honolulu, Hawaii home. My husband (who is also a flight attendant! check out our couple blog here) and I have lived on the island since 2020 and got married here in 2022.

Over the past several of years my dreams and desires of my life have become more apparent as I’ve been focusing on traveling. My love for photography, blogging, and travel are all wrapped in to one in this flight attendant travel blog. I couldn’t be happier with my crazy, love-filled life!

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Sushi! Preferably with avocado, cream cheese, dynamite crunch topping & a yummy sweet & spicy sauce!

What has been your favorite vacation ever?

My trip all around Peru!

What keeps you motivated for work?

Being passionate about exploring and experiencing new things and loving to share with others.

If you could be any profession in the world, what would it be?

I am living my dream being a full-time blogger and flight attendant!

What’s your favorite tv show?

I literally have a never ending list, but my all time favorite is Gilmore Girls, of course! I have a whole section on this blog dedicated to it!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

With my life there are is no telling! It changes dramatically by the week. In five years I hope to be living in Portugal with Raul and hopefully several littles.

Any special talents?

I am a little chef! I love to cook and experiment with food. I treat recipes as guidelines and get creative with it!
