Caramel Apple Sangria Recipe
This Caramel Apple Sangria was a major hit for Thanksgiving we decided to make it every year! It is SO easy to make and only needs 4 ingredients!
I am not a big fan of wine. I know, call me crazy! But I did recently have a fancy Merlot at a holiday party that was almosttttt good. :) Moscato is a normal go-to wine for most people, but for this particular drink I would choose a more mild white wine like a Pinot Grigio. The Moscato combined with the sweet caramel vodka will make it a sugar overload! Start with a medium white wine base.
I won’t lie – we don’t know the difference between all those different kinds of apples. We decided on one that was pretty and had a fun name. haha! I don’t even remember what it was! I am very uneducated when it comes to picking out fruit and veggies. I have no idea when they are ripe or how long will stay good. Google is my best friend when it comes to that stuff (and a call to my mother to verify). There use to be handy little informationals around the produce section with tips and tricks – where did they go? Please bring them back! For this sangria you will want a medium red apple like a Gala or Honeycrisp.
This Caramel Apple Sangria was a hit! And the apple slices soaked in the sangria were absolutely delicious! If you are wanting an extra spicy, kick put about a 1/2 cup of Fireball whiskey in the sangria! Let me know how much you love it!

Caramel Apple Sangria
What you’ll need:
- 1 750 ml bottle of pinot grigio (or any mild white wine)
- 1 cup caramel flavored vodka
- 6 cups apple cider
- 3 medium red apples, cored and sliced
- Optional: You can definitely add a splash (or two ;)) of fireball to give it a spicy, cinnamon kick!
How to make it:
Sangria is one of my favorite things to make because it is SO ridiculously easy! Just combine all of your ingredient in a glass pitcher, cover it with saran wrap or press and seal, let it sit over night or a whole day in the fridge and then voila! Drink up the deliciousness!
