Distressed White Tee & Bohemian Accessories

Fall is here – but it is STILL hot in Texas! This is a constant struggle for me – I love fall and winter clothing and have sweaters, coats and scarfs galore, but it will not get to bust those out for at least another couple of months! How am I coping? Ankle boots! I am absolutely in love with this trend because I want to dress for the fall, but knee high riding boots look a little out of place when it is 90+ degrees outside.

So, ankle boots is a great compromise for all of us who are battling warmer temperatures. Pair ankle boots with some boyfriend jeans or ankle length jeans – ankle boots are not the type of boots to tuck jeans in to. One of my favorite brands is Truly Madly Deeply – you can usually find it at Urban Outfitters or Free People. They make the comfiest, stylish tees. I love this basic, but not too basic, off-white tee shirt. It has small holes all over that adds a little ‘something’ to this super soft tee. I love layering so having pieces like this in my wardrobe gives me so many different ways to wear one item because you can pair it with different jeans, shoes and it’s a completely different outfit.

Accessories are my best friends! I love jewelry – it can make a simple tee and boyfriend jean outfit complete! For me it is all about the accessories and finding interesting statement pieces. This necklace is my absolute FAVORITE – I received it for Christmas this past year and wear it all the time.. probably too much – but it just seems to go with everything! :] My rings are from Urban Outfitters. They actually came in a set with all different types so I can mix and match and use as many or as few as I want! My bracelet is from Victoria Emerson. This wrap bracelet is my go-to when I need a little something extra. It is really comfortable and because it has brown leather and gun metal beads it is very versatile!
