How to Style a Poncho

For some reason when I put on a poncho it makes me go crazy. I spin and giggle.. and poncho-flash.. I think it’s a condition. It’s bizarre, but ponchos make me very happy! They are so fun and comfortable! I love this one I snagged from Marshall’s (for $9.99!!)

I went for a more relaxed, cozy look for the weekend. I paired this gray poncho with a striped quarter length shirt to give the look a pinch of pattern that surprises you every now and again when you see it. The necklace I have on is another treasure I found in my mother’s jewelry box. Her father actually made it from a sliver coin! :] I wear it frequently!

To continue the comfort I wore some denim-esque textured shoes. I purchased them from Rack Room Shoes. They had a bogo deal and I had a $65 gift card.. so needless to say I walked out with 6 pairs of shoes.. As if I have room in my closet! I just can’t seem to get rid of shoes – you never know when you will need ‘that’ specific pair! I may be guilty as a shoe-hoarder, but that’s okay with me – as long as I have the perfect pair when I need them. :]
