My skin can really take a beating while traveling so I am so happy that I found a great system to keep my skin fresh, clean & clear of acne. I have had my eye on a Clarsonic Mia 2 for quite some time because skincare is something I really love. I’m not a huge makeup person, but I love masks (like this DIY Coffee scrub & mask!) all that skincare stuff. My skin is typically oily and I can get sweaty easily. At the end of a day of traveling I want to make sure I am squeaky clean.
The first time I used the Clarisonic Mia 2 I literally was amazed at how great my skin looked and felt. Caleb even noticed a difference in my skin after a couple of days. MY TOP 3 TIPS FOR SKINCARE WHILE TRAVELING
1. Thoroughly wash your face after you are done exploring. Cleanse your skin from all the impurities that will invade your pores. Don’t just wait until the night to wash your face because that just lets the oil & bacteria settle in and get cozy likely to cause a breakout!
2. Be consistent with your routine. I can’t stress how important consistency is! When I was younger I HAD to try the new “best” skin creams & cleansers. Using a new skincare product constantly can shock your skin and lead to unhappy pores. Warning: They may rebel!
3. Use a moisturizer with SPF. Replenish your skin with a moisturizer and protect it with an SPF. You should moisturize your skin with SPF every day, but especially while traveling. SPF is so important and can protect your skin against harmful rays that may damage your skin. Keep your skin refreshed and quenched!
