Time for another hair how-to for the lazy girl in all of us! :] This little updo has become one of my favorites because it looks interesting yet takes about two seconds and if there is one rule in life I love it is: the messier the better. That rule definitely applies to this hairstyle! I love wearing this hairstyle when I have a cute back to my outfit and want to show it off. Being able to accept the fact that I have ears that stick out – yes, like dumbo – I am not really a fan of the classic ponytail. So, I have several go-to updos that are similar to a ponytail that I wear on the daily, but all are loose and flowy. Have a go at my messy knot hairstyle – quick, easy and cute! You need spiral bobby pins for this look. If you use regular bobby pins you might be sticking them in for hours. Go easy on yourself and just buy them! They are lifesavers. This whole hairstyle was done with TWO bobby pins.

First, part your hair down the middle and tie your hair in a knot. Yes, literally – like you would tie a knot in your shoelaces. :]

Second, screw one spiral bobby pin in from the bottom right. Make sure you are catching the hair in the knot as well as the hair laying flat on your head.

Lastly, screw another spiral bobby pin in from the left side to hold that hair in place. Done!
