Maxi Dress + Knit Headband

Somedays it is cold, other days the sun is shining – I never know what the weather is going to be like nowadays! I’ve found a good balance of wearing light knits with some more winter accents. I styled this black maxi dress with an oversized sweater. I love the comfy and cute style, but sometimes wearing oversized clothing can swallow you whole. When I wear an outfit like this I like to secure a skinny belt around my waist. The belt gives the outfit some fun print and also accentuates that I actually do have a figure under all of this bagginess! :]

I decided to wear this chunky knit headband turban from Three Bird Nest as my winter accent. I love the deep red wine color. I used one of my Fresh Sugar lip treatment in Passion for my lip color – I love because it is just enough color for everyday wear. Especially for someone like me who rarely uses lipstick. Sugar has been my best friend since I discovered it! I love every single shade! I feel like every blog or magazine always has the lips for color, but for some reason I feel like it looks so foreign on me! Does anyone else feel that way? We will all have to band together and try out some new lip color!
