Plaid Tunic & Gold Tassel Necklace
I love this plaid tunic!
BUT first and foremost – don’t anyone ever let me wear my hair like this ever again. hahah! I thought I could maybe do a whole one side back thing because my hair was sticking to me while I was sweating my arse off in this plaid tunic, but no. It is CRAZY hot in Texas still and shooting fall fashion is quite a task! But anyways that do’ is not too becoming on me, but ya live ya learn! :) My husband said while shooting this look for me: “You look like one side of your head is shaved.” That right there should have been my indicator that it was a bad idea. hahaha!!
I want so badly to bust out my over the knee boots, this plaid tunic, and cute winter hats and headbands (like this one!), but the weather here in Houston hasn’t dropped below 5792 degrees. Okay, that may be an exaggeration, but still yall – IT IS NOT FALL! Sometimes I want to live in a place where it has seasons, but then I think about the snow and I’m like no thanks. Snow is pretty from a far, on a postcard or through a window, but walking through it daily? Nuh-uh, nope, no thanks! I literally froze to death in New York City! I am a huge wimp when it comes to cold, but I still want fall to roll around sometime. I love to see the leaves changing.
When it does really become fall here in Houston I will head straight for this plaid tunic! I love the deep blue color and the best part about it: SO comfy! Throw on some ankle length jeans and wedges (my favorite TOMS!) and you are good to go. This gold tassel necklace is from Capwell & Co. It has become one of my favorite statement pieces. You can throw it on a tee to dress it up or to complete any fall outfit that needs a little oomph!
