Puffer Vest + Boyfriend Jeans

I have been scouting for the perfect puffer vest and I’m pretty sure I’ve found it! I love the gray texture and the best part is it is insulated so it ACTUALLY keeps you warm – it’s not just cute! This puffer vest is absolutely perfect for those travels where you need to layer up. It would have been perfect for my Peru packing list. I would have loved this warm puffer while I was hiking Rainbow Mountain.

These boyfriend jeans have been so comfy and perfect for a summer to fall transition. In Texas it is cool in the morning, hot during the day and then cool at night. Boyfriend jeans are the perfect medium and I love the distressed look to balance out the wholesomeness of the sweater and puffer vest.

I am excited to see what else I can pair it with. My earrings are some I inherited snooping around in my mom’s jewelry box. Her father actually made them! I have a necklace that is similar (but a lot larger) made out of a silver dollar. I always get compliments on it because it is so unique.

So you probably noticed.. I cut my bangs! I had straight fringe about 3 years ago and my hubby has always hinted that he wants me to get them again. So while he was out of town I decided (with some persuasion from my girlfriends) to cut them again. He was happily surprised! I just can’t shake the desire to chop all my hair off in a medium blunt bob. I haven’t had short hair since I was in elementary school. I’m nervous about it, but might take the plunge in a couple of months!
