Refreshing Watermelon Margarita Recipe
Today is Cinco de Mayo so obviously an amazing margarita recipe is essential! My hubs and I love a good margarita – and lucky for me he bartended for several years! He decided to kick it up a notch with this amazing watermelon margarita recipe.
This watermelon margarita is the perfect balance of refreshing watermelon and yummy tequila! This margarita recipe is perfect for those hot summer days relaxing by the pool with loved ones. We sipped on these using our festive fishbowl glasses while catching some sun the other day. We have accumulated several of these fishbowl glasses over the years. While we were dating we would take a trip to San Antonio every summer and buy a couple from a local artisan at a market. We love that each glass is unique and no two are exactly the same. I found a similar glass at World Market – but if you can I’d recommend a trip to San Antonio to snag a few hand blown glasses.
I am obsessed with NYX San Paolo matte lip cream. The pink gives such a great color pop without being too overwhelmingly barbie. I like my lip color to be semi-natural and this shade works great with my skin tone! I always use a good chapstick before applying this lip cream. It is a light cream, but because it is matte it tends to dry out my lips a bit. Nothing a little chapstick can’t handle. I think San Paolo is going to be my go-to summer lip color!
What are your favorite summer time drinks?!
